shadysaiyan Just finished watching "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time", i know i was supposed to watch it a while a ago, but hey. Anyway, it was a great movie. I'd write a review if i was good at writing and making words sound interesting :D
shadysaiyan I noticed that it has only 13 episode, but i can't complain since Hellsing only had 13, but it was really good.
Lovekuja Yeah, alchemists became somewhat popular after FMA. But Baccano is nothing like FMA. Alchemy is not really the selling point of Baccano, and the alchemy of the show resembles occultism more than the magic-like alchemy in FMA.
shadysaiyan The story sounds like Fullmetal Alchemist, maybe because that was the succes in the alchemist anime genre, but idk, i like the art style so i think i will take a crack at checking this baccano out.

Ladykiller What? I thought Burst Angel was amazing. Great animation, music, and action sequences. I the story isn't the best, but it's not bad at all. If you're just looking for a good time, then I highly recommend it- I love its style.

Lovekuja And I guess subtitles are something you have to learn to read with efficiency. Around here, all foreign shows are subbed, except kids shows. So I can naturally read subtitles with great efficiency, both in finnish and english.
Lovekuja Yeah, it does take quite a lot of watching to learn the differences in japanese voices, moreover if you don't know the language. These days though, I can identify voices of my favourite voice-actors and characters.
shadysaiyan i know that most anime's are toned down in the US, besides stuff on Adult Swim, but that doesnt really bother me much. i also think that all the japanese voices sound exactly the same.
shadysaiyan yeah i prefer dubs, i just cant stand watching something and not understanding whats being said, so i have to read throughout the each episode..its annoying to me, its like how can i pay attention to the awesomeness thats going on if im reading.

Ladykiller The green is an improvement over the bright orange...though it doesn't quite have that attracting appeal. (atleast to younger anime fans)

shadysaiyan I think a solution to that would be a text color change for the links in the middle of paragraph.
Lovekuja There is a slight problem with inserting links into the news. The linked text looks exactly like the non-linked text. It may be hard to spot some links this way, unless one accidentally scrolls the mouse pointer over the link.
